William Doublet Medieval Vest Size M in Black/Chocolate No. c18016

Doublets traditionally were fitted jackets that ended at the waist or hips. Popular for over three centuries, their styling underwent many changes from simple to elaborate. This doublet has the added advantage of being completely reversible. The Basic Doublet has an interior and an exterior both made of medium weight cotton twill in a solid color.

The front pieces come to a point in the middle while the back pieces are straight cut and shorter. A stand up collar, short capped sleeves and a waistline peplum complete the look. Wear the doublet laced up for a formal fit, or wear it unlaced for a casual look.

This doublet is Black with Chocolate Brown lining, it has black eyelets and black ties.

Note that the delivery time for a doublet made with tapestry or velvet would be a minimum of eight weeks and that the price would be higher than for one made of just twill.
