Our American artist CA Conter has made a series of jewelry with horses inspired by the short story "The Rain Horse", written by Ted Hughes in 1947.
The short story is about a man who gets lost away during a hike in rather bad weather, and then meet a horse with unusual characteristics. We will never find out if the horse is real or just part of the man's own mind and much in the story is left to the reader's own imagination.
Thus, our artist has interpreted the horse from the story.
These jewelry is made of pewter and is in great detail.
Right now we have three varieties at home, the galloping horse like a brooch and the other two as pendants.
