Handmade unique Jewelry, as it may have looked about a hundred or so years ago!
Many of the brass parts in our jewelry are made with dies that date back to the turn of the 19th century. Some of the findings and stampings we use are rare and hard to find and most of our pewter items are handpainted, so you can be pretty sure you will not see your new jewelry on each and everyone you meet. Our high end, more elaborate, jewelry pieces are made in just the one original design.

Our next show will be the annual big Pet Show in Kista which is Thursday the 5th - Sunday the 8th of January. This is always a great show with animals of all kinds and sizes.

This weekend the 10th - 11th of December we will showing our jewelry at the annual Stockholm International Dog Show in Älvsjö. A big event for us dog interested people that always attracts a lot of visitors.
Soon, on the 2nd - 4th of December, there is time for this year's first, and only, Christmas Fair for us. It will be held in Solnahallen and will be open 11:00 - 18:00 all days except Sunday, this day the fair will close at 17:00.
This coming weekend the 5th - 6th of November, we have been invited be the Historical Museum in Stockholm to take part in their Fairy Tale and Fantasy Weekend. We are very flattered and pleased to be included. There will be a lot of acitivities for children young and old to take part in, and a fashion show showing historical, fantasy and CosPlay costumes.
On Sunday the 2nd of October, we will be showing our jewelry and clothing at the Örsundsbro Michaelmas Fair.
From today Wednesday up to and including Sunday, we will be in Arboga during their annual Medieval Days. A new fair for us and one we look forward to very much.
This coming Sunday we will be showing our jewelry, and clothing too, at a national dog show on Vallentuna Flygfält (airfield).

This last weekend the 2nd - 3rd of July we were in Storfors in Värmland, attending the Storfors Country Fair.
Our next fair will be the Mariefred Medieval Days 21st - 24th of July in Mariefred. This is a very nice fair with no entrance fee and lots of activities for kids.
On the Swedish National Day the 6th of June, we will be at the medieval fair in Husby-Långhundra near Bålsta, which this year will be celebrating their 20th anniversary. A great fair and there will be jousting, too, with real knights on horseback.
Tomorrow on the 26th of March we will be in Tierp, showing both our jewelry and clothing at a National Rabbit Show.

The Pet Fair in Kista is over and it's a whole long year until next time. As usual, it was a very nice fair with lots of visitors and lots of animals of all sizes. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth!
We have a brand new piece in our series made of sterling silver and bronze; the American Staffordshire Terrier Ribbon Head.

Just a short note to let you know that next week we will take a break from everything regarding jewelry. We will have guests staying with us and have promised to not even have a peak at our email. We are very sorry to have neglected our English site. Some of you have been in touch anyway, for which we are most grateful. We are always happy to recieve your orders.
Sadly, we made a very short appearance at the Trosa Fair this year. It was just too windy that day, and we had no way of using tent pegs when standing on asphalt. We will have to look into solving that for future outdoor fairs.
Finally, we have some great news; we have THREE brand new charms. You are very welcome to order jewelry with them, even though none is advertised here yet. Send us a picture of your pet and have its portrait painted on our charms.
It is much smaller of course, only 19 mm wide and 15 mm high.
Well, now we do, the cutest little sitting Hamster with a tiny tail. The charm is 10 mm wide and 13 mm high.

We have had sickness and a death in the family so not much is being done with the homepage right now. If you wish to order anything, you are most welcome to do so anyway.
A few days after the International Dog Show in Älvsjö, we wish to get in touch with you who lost a gold earring in our booth during that show. When we struck our tent, we found it laying on the floor. It's an earring of a most unusual design, just email us with a description and we will give it back to you.
The rabbit show on Saturday was a very nice event. We saw a lot of cute rabbits and happy visitors and our rabbit themed jewelry was a great success. Now we look forward to a big dog show on Saturday, the day we call Easter Eve.
A whole month has passed. On Saturday we will attend a rabbit show in Tierp.
Late this afternoon we had the saddest news; Nix, our rabbit modell for our new lop-ear rabbit charm, was one of the casualties in the roof cave in accident in Nyköping. Rest in peace, little Nix, together with all your brothers and sisters.
The latest news from the caved in roof accident in Nyköping is that more than 100 rabbits have been saved alive and reasonably well today, three days after the accident.

We have just read about the horrible accident in Nyköping last night. The roof of the sports hall were the rabbit show was taking place has caved in, crushing an so far unknown number of rabbits in cages underneath. Officials are trying to evacuate the rabbits not underneath the caved in roof but the building is regarded as very unstable so it's a slow and dangerous work.
We wish to express our deepest compassion to all of you strikken in some way by this horrible accident, and of course most to those of you who don't yet even know if your rabbits have survived. Our hearts go out to you.
We have so much looked forward to coming to the Swedish Rabbit Breeder's big show in Nyköping on the 20th of February but sadly, we can't. We will not be there due to sickness, we have flu in the family and do not wish to pass that on to our customers. We hope to see our rabbit oriented customers some other time.

The big pet show at the beginning of January was, as always, very nice. Many visitors and hoards of animals of all kinds and sizes. Many happily smiling returning customers came to our booth to show off jewelry they had bought from us before and to make new finds in this year's collection. We are a little tired now after Hund2009 in Stockholm. We saw so many wonderful dogs and met so many nice people. This year we had more people then ever before in front of our booth, where we, among other things, showed our new series of jewelry made of sterling silver, bronze and pewter. Beautiful, breed true, jewelry and jewelry parts with almost every breed of dog there is. Including our picture glass cameos, we really can make jewelry with every breed and mixed breed there is, as those can be made with any picture of your choice.

The handicraft fair in Kista is over for this year and we now look forward to Hund2009 in Älvsjö, the biggest dog show of the year for us. If you are attending, please come and see us, our booth has number A:15. If you bring a printout of this page (click here) to our booth and give it to us, you will recieve a 20 percent discount on one item of your choice, bought from us during the show. This offer does not apply to custom made items.
The lop-ears are here and we have already recieved some orders for them. They are so cute, both handpainted and in silver or gold colors with their sparkling crystal eyes. Contact us with your order, you too. If your item is ordered too late to make it to you in time for Christmas, we will send you a pretty gift card to give the recipient with the promise of your gift. That would almost make it two gifts, instead of one.

At last our email-problem seems to be solved; we got new email client. We're hoping and keeping our fingers crossed. Sadly, some old emails did not make it through the move into the new program and was lost in the process. If you have not recieved an answer from us, that could be the cause. Some very good news is that we now can offer jewelry with, for us, brand new dog breeds, among them Saluki, Basenji and Borzoi.
We do not have all new pages ready yet but they will be very soon. Until then, enjoy the picture of this wonderful pewter brooch picturing a happily frolicking Saluki. This dog is not yet sold and it is just waiting to be transformed into a handpainted portrait of your own dog. If you own a Saluki, that is. We welcome your order!

Great news! We will shortly recieve what we believe is our last sample of our lop-eared rabbit charm. This is what it looks like now.
More dog jewelry in sterling silver and bronze ca be seen on our Dog Breeds pages. For those interested, we have one Chinese Crested set in bronze for sale, that is, one large head for a pendant/necklace and two small heads for earrings. We also have one pair of small Pharao Hound or Podenco charms in bronze. Both these items can be ordered for handpainting.
We will shortly show another series of beautiful dog jewelry, pewter castings for pins and pendants with many breeds made by artist Cindy Conter. And some lovely Arabian horses, too. All these items can be ordered handpainted. We will be back with more about this new line later.
Last weekend we attended a guinea pig show in Kallhäll in Stockholm. It was lots of fun and we met a lot of piggies with their very nice owners. This coming Saturday we will be in the Old Trade Fair in Sollentuna, attending a rabbit show. Read more on our Scheduled Shows page.

The good news first. We have updated our Dog Pages again with lots of new jewelry and new breeds, too. The gorgeous pieces in sterling silver and bronze are available in dozens of styles. If you find a piece of jewelry you like but you can't find it with your breed of dog, please inquire, it's very likely that piece is available with your dog, also.
We seem to have email-trouble again. We are getting emails from customers, wondering why we haven't answered their emails. I can assure you we have, we answer all emails. If you haven't heard from us within two days at the most, please write again and we will answer you from another address until we get this taken care of. We got a new lop-eared rabbit sample, or rather, we didn't get it, seeing the picture was enough. Very disappointing it was. So it's back to the drawing board, or its equivalence, for our rabbit and we do hope the next sample will not be so long in coming.
More updates to our dog list pages. Many of you are asking us why there are no prices on those pages, and that is a very valid question. The beautiful American dog jewelry pieces we have recently started advertising are just too new for us, we do not have a price list from the seller yet. As soon as we do get a price list, we will of course let you know all prices.

We have yet more dog breeds pages, a lot more! We can now promise that we can make jewelry with any kind of dog there is. And any other kind of animal, too. We can make photo-under-glass cameos of your own pictures and we have a contact that can make porcelain cameos with any picture, too. See here if you want to know how we make our glass cameos.
Many of you ask about our new lop-eared rabbit charm and want to know when it will be ready for ordering. We have recieved one sample that was not what we wanted and expect another next week. If that one is what we are all hoping for, then it shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks before we have them here. So yes, they will be in time for Christmas. Thank you for your patience.

We have had two more shows, a dog show in Vallentuna and a trade fair here on Ekerö. Just now, we have no more shows scheduled until December.

As by a small miracle, it hardly rained at all in Nyköping. We had a very nice two days with lots of dogs and their humans. Sunday this coming weekend, we will be at another dog show, this time on Vallentuna Airfield. Do come and see us if you are in the neighbourhood. Welcome!

At last we have our computer back, with a brand new harddisk. As usual after a computer crash there is some work to be done to get all programs to behave as they did before, but we are getting there. We will answer all emails as soon as we can.

Our computer has let us down again and we are sadly coming to the conclusion that something drastic, and probably expensive, has to be done. Small repairs here and there are no longer sufficient. The medeival fair at Hågelby Folkpark and the fair at Trosa are both things of the past. During both fairs it rained and was much too cold for the season. We really hope the weather will be nicer in Mariefred in the middle of July.

Today we celebrate Valborg Night in Sweden. All that dreadful winter darkness is gone for this season, spring is here and soon there will be summer. Big bonfires are lit all over the country and then there is singing. Beautiful old spring and summer songs, sung by choirs and sometimes there is community singing, too.
Unicorn Design is in the process of having its very own second custom charm created. This time it is a lop eared rabbit. To find a cute model for our new charm, we announced a little contest on the forum Kanin-Net.
